I would say it is worth it and I does decent damage against larger bosses. Absolutely. The biggest challenge is knowing when to break it out. If you know you'll be up against Fallen or Taken, Riskrunner will shred through the mobs. If you ever need to run the gofannon forge, it is a freakin beast.

They do the same damage at the same fire rate but Riskrunner gets 160 fewer bullets to work with.
